Lorain County Child Support Enforcement Agency
Back-to-School Amnesty Program
Month of September 2015

Throughout the month of September, parents who have had their driver’s license suspended for failure to pay child support can have the license reinstated by paying one full month of their child support obligation.  Payments can be made in cash, by check, or money order at the payment window in the CSEA lobby, daily from 7:30a.m. to 4:15p.m and Tuesdays until 6:30p.m.  Payments can also be mailed to the CSEA at 42485 North Ridge Road, Elyria, Ohio 44035.

This is the 12th year that Lorain County CSEA has enacted a Driver’s License Reinstatement Program to support Child Support Awareness.  Statistics from past years show that participation in the program actually changed the behavior of some parents who began paying on a more regular basis after making payments through the Amnesty Driver’s License Reinstatement Program.

The county will also have information and referrals available for unemployed or underemployed parents.  Referrals will be made to the Jobs Network for free vocational testing and help with the job search.

Anyone wishing to learn more about the program can call CSEA at 440-284-4401.
