Haven’t had the chance to play in this fantastic event yet?  Don’t worry because the LCBA Foundation is now planning its Third Annual Softball Game/Family Event at All Pro Freight Stadium.  If you talk with anyone that played or just attended, you know how much fun was had by all.  Don’t miss out this year.  We have once again rented out the entire stadium for game of softball for LCBA members.  We need 30 people to play.  Like last year, the teams will be drawn randomly from a hat a few days prior to the game.  If you are interested in playing, please let us know asap.  This is a co-ed event.

Bring the family because we will have lots of things for the kids to do, including face painting, balloon twisting, inflatables for our use and Stomper will be there once again to entertain all!

Families, friends, neighbors are all invited to watch the game.  Come a little early and enjoy a picnic dinner before the game on the Crusher’s patio .

This year, we will have fundraisers for and all proceeds will benefit the Karen P. Nakon Foundation whose mission it is to grant direct financial aid to women and their families in Ohio who are burdened with the high cost of breast cancer treatments. The Foundation will match up to $1,000 raised!

The Karen P. Nakon Breast Cancer Foundation was established in 2003 by Karen’s husband Matt, family and friends, to honor her graceful and courageous five-year battle against breast cancer.  Karen was concerned about the lack of funding for research and some families’ inability to endure the high cost of treatments.  It was her wish, and therefore the mission, that a foundation be created to help these families in need.

Matt Nakon is the President and CEO of Wickens, Herzer, Panza, Cook and Batista, located in Avon and is the President of the Karen P. Nakon Breast Cancer Foundation.

The Nakon Foundation has awarded more than $800,000 in grants to over 600 breast cancer survivors in Northeast Ohio to help them manage their finances during treatment and
recovery.

Email or call us to reserve your spot (lcba@windstream.net; 440-323-8416).  This is a great event for the entire family.
